Zinc oxide USP reference standard intended for use in specified quality tests and assays.

Also used to prepare standard, and standard stock solutions for assay according to the following United States Pharmacopeia (USP) monographs and general chapter:

  • Zinc Oxide Powder
  • Zinc Sulfate Ophthalmic Solution
  • Zinc Oxide Neutral
  • Zinc Carbonate
  • 〈591〉 Zinc Determination

Employed in the preparation of NaZnSiO3OH, a novel chiral framework material which has potential application in ion exchange, adsorption or catalysis.
