• 1,6-Hexanediol (key polymer precursor to polyesters) via hydrodeoxygenation process in the presence of Rh€“ReOx/SiO₂ catalyst.
• Tetrahydropyran-2-methanol, a six-membered oxide ring, by reacting with ethylene carbonate.
