Specifically designed to work in robotic arm autosamplers like Agilent (HP). Unique StepVial design precisely centers a limited volume insert in the vial neck. Available with marking spots and graduated with marking area. Black polypropylene vials protects against light sensitive samples from having a chemical reaction during sampling, testing, storage or transporting. The polypropylene provides added safety by eliminating breakage. 1160V14 & 1160V15 Vials with Transfer Ring - for use in robotic arm autosamplers. The transfer ring allows a robotic arm to pick up the vial without having a closure attached. When the transfer ring vial is used with a closure the ring prevents over torquing (over-tightening) while providing a tight seal and eliminating any evaportation concerns. The 9mm Transfer Ring vial has a 6mm diameter opening, 40% larger than standard 12x32mm vials in order to aid in sample transfers and provide a larger target area for needle insertion. This vial is manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass, conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Class A requirements. Packaged in polypropylene scallop trays with lids, specifically designed by J. G. Finneran Associates. The clean packaging eliminates particulate contaminants found in cardboard packaging.
