The 1 Kb DNA Ladder is a unique combination of a number of proprietary plasmids digested with appropriate restriction enzymes and PCR products to yield 13 fragments, suitable for use as molecular weight standards for electrophoresis. The enhanced intensities of the 1 Kb and 3 Kb fragments were designed for quick and easy determination of electrophoresis results. The IBI 1Kb DNA ladder comes pre-mixed with a 6X loading dye consisting of bromophenol blue and xylene cyanol FF. No diluting necessary and an extra tube of 6X loading dye is also included with C852A61. Product ships on blue ice and can be stored at 25°C for up to 6 months, 4°C for 12 months and -20°C for 2 years.
