100ul 96-PCR Light Cycler, PP white, (Master Pack)

Standard profile, 96-well 0.1mL PCR plate with half-skirt. The half-height skirt wall design lends rigidity, reducing warping and twisting, allows for 30% more plates per stack than full skirt, provides convenient barcoding areas, and retains compatibility with a high number of thermal cyclers. Plate is easily oriented with corner notch and molded in alpha-numeric. The short well design optimizes assay conditions by reducing the distance between sample (in the well) and heated lid. By eliminating evaporation on the tube wall, PCR sample volumes are maintained, and the efficiency of the reaction is increased.  This is especially important for low volume samples (<20ul). This plate works equally well for manual or automated protocols. Ultra-flat surfaces, large sidewall area, and rigidity optimize this plate for consistent automated handling with most robotic systems. Plate is easily oriented with corner notch and molded in alpha-numeric. Its ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 compliant footprint ensures that it will fit all standard fixtures, stackers, and other SBS compliant equipment. Plates are thin and flexible, manufactured of low extractable, optically clear, virgin, medical grade polypropylene specifically for the rigorous demands of the research laboratory. Uniformly thin-walls promote rapid even thermal transfer for consistent amplification and increased recovery rate. Raised rims on each well help protect from cross contamination, minimize sample loss during storage, and make for enhanced sealing with adhesive films, silicone mats, or heat-sealing films.
