100ul 96-well PCR Full Skirt, PP white

Optimize your signal with our full-skirt low profile, 96-well 0.1mL PCR plate.  It works equally well for manual or automated protocols.  The short well design optimizes assay conditions by reducing the distance between sample (in the well) and heated lid. By eliminating evaporation on the tube wall, PCR sample volumes are maintained, and the efficiency of the reaction is increased.  This is especially important for low volume samples (<20ul). The full skirt plate is a very rigid design, providing convenient barcoding areas and automation compatibility.  Uniform thin walls promote rapid even thermal transfer for consistent amplification and increased recovery rate. Plates are manufactured of low extractable, medical grade polypropylene and colored white to optimize signal-to-noise ratio when performing fluorescent assays.  White PCR plates increase the fluorescence level up to 10-fold for qPCR.  This can reduce reagent need while further increasing detection. Plate is easily oriented with corner notch and molded in alpha numeric.  Raised rims on each well help protect from cross contamination, minimize sample loss during storage, and make for enhanced sealing with adhesive films, silicone mats, or heat-sealing films.
