AbraMag  E. coli IMS Beads are immunomagnetic separation beads densely coated with antibodies against Escherichia coli serotype Oxx and designed for the rapid and selective concentration of E. coli serogroup Oxx to assist confirmation on selective agars. The beads should be used as part of the USDA-FSIS test protocol described in the USDA-FSIS Microbiology Laboratory Guidebook (MLG) Chapter 5B.02 "Detection and Isolation of non-O157 Shiga-Toxin Producing Escherichia coli Strains (STEC) from Meat Products".
