Cell Line Description

The antibody is specific for NADH nitrite reductase and inhibits reduction of nitrate to nitrate using NADH electron donor. It also inhibits the reduction of nitrate using flavin nucleotides (FMNH2 or FADH2) or methyl viologen. The antibody is directed against NADH-NR if mono and dicotyledons.

Nitrate reductase purified from the leaves of 6-8 week old spinach plants - Spinacea oleraceal

Culture Medium

DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO₂; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder layers upon resuscitation
