Agarose 3:1 Super Sieve, 250g

IBI 3:1 Super-Sieve Agarose is designed to have a larger gel network than IBI Ultra Sieve and is recommended for use in the separation of DNA fragments smaller than 1500bp. Gels made with 3:1 Super Sieve have a higher gel strength than competitive products. The gel is exceptionally firm, but still flexible when handled which minimizes cracking. IBI 3:1 Super Sieve has the same melting and gelling temperature as standard molecular biology grade agarose allowing fast and easy preparation of gels. IBI 3:1 Super Sieve agarose is recommended for all analytical applications, especially when DNA is recovered for subsequent use in enzymatic procedures. Use a 2.0% gel for 500 - 1500bp and a 4.0% gel for 150 - 600bp. These ranges are approximate and have been calculated in 1X TAE buffer. Store at room temperature. Protected from moisture. Agarose gels may be stored wrapped in plastic or submerged in 1X running buffer at +4°C until needed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothes. Wash thoroughly with water after handling.
