General description

Novel horizontal chambers permit the rapid screening of column chromatography fractions. Designed for economy and use in student laboratories. Use with 25 ƒ 70 mm flexible plastic or glass TLC plates that may be spotted with up to 10 fractions 7 mm apart along the long edge of the plate. Uses only 2 mL solvent with elution complete in about 45 sec (using 20% EtOAc/hexanes as eluant). Greater resolution may be achieved by extending elution time. Borosilicate glass.
Performance features:
Rapid analysis; highly efficient use of TLC plate; tube wall provides a straight base for even solvent flow; very little solvent required.
