All-rac-a-Tocopheryl Acetate, FCC is the synthetic form of Vitamin E. Alpha-tocopheryl acetate is more resistant to oxidation during storage than unesterified tocopherols. The bioavailability of alpha-tocopherol from alpha-tocopheryl acetate is roughly equivalent to that of free alpha-tocopherol.
