General description

CD276 is a costimulatory molecule belonging to the B7 family. It is expressed in various normal tissues and in several tumor cell lines.

Application

Anti-CD276 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. Biochem/physiol Actions

CD276 is involved in the T cell activation and IFN (interferon)-γ production. It directly binds to putative counter-receptor on activated T cells to stimulate proliferation of both CD⁴⁺ and CD⁸⁺ T cells. It has been reported that CD276 may work as a biomarker in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis. CD276 is associated with the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway in the human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
