Campylobacter Nitrate HiVegTM Broth is recommended for the identification of Campylobacter species on the basis of nitrate reduction. Hiveg media is formulated as per APHA. Campylobacter jejuni is oxidase positive and reduces nitrates. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
