Carbenicillin, Disodium Salt, 5g (C003B-010671)

Carbenicillin is an antibiotic which inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and for cell culture media applications. Recommended use is 100mg/ml. Stock solution of antibiotics dissolved in water should be sterilized by filtration through a 0.22 micron filter. Store at +4°C. Warm to room temperature before opening. Keep tightly sealed. Store Carbenicillin solution in a light-tight container at –20oC. Federal law prohibits dispensing without prescription. Not for use in humans. Not for drug use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. May cause sensitization by inhalation and/or contact.
