DNA molecular markers are available in four different formulations to give you maximum versatility. Our High-Range mixture contains fragments from 10-50 kb in length, while our Low-Range mixture is optimized for smaller (.10-10 kb) fragments and our Wide-Range mixture contains fragments in the full range of 0.1 to 50 kb in length (perfect for gene mapping and RFLP analysis). All are made from carefully purified Lambda (+ strand) DNA, digested with various restriction enzymes, and modified to prevent re-annealing.
