Drosophila diet, ID001 is a modification of E. B. Lewis's original formula for fruit fly larvae. This medium mimics the insect's normal food source and provides the necessary nutrition for growth and development of fruit fly larvae. Appearance of Powder: Wheat brown colored granular powder. Solubility: 226.5gms/L gives insoluble mass Storage and Shelf-life: Store at 2-8°C. Shelf life of the product is 36 months. In spite of above recommended storage condition, certain powdered medium may show some signs of deterioration / degradation in certain instances. This can be indicated by change in colour, change in appearance and presence of particulate matter. Use before expiry date given on the product label.
