Application

Glass beads 2 mm can be used as a supporting matrix to develop biologically inert and reusable liquid culture media. It is also used as solid support to immobilize metal-doped TiO₂ photocatalysts by heat attachment method, to prevent agglomeration and easy separation of doped nanoparticles.
