Application

Glycerol Gelatin has been used for mounting endometrial tissue and pancreatic sections for microscopic examination. It has also been used for the immobilization and mounting of helminth eggs for on chip image analysis.

Components

Prepared with gelatin, glycerol and phenol. Very similar in composition to Kaiser′s glycerol jelly.

Preparation Note

Product must be warmed to 55-60 Ã‚Â°C before use. At ~37 Ã‚Â°C the product returns to semi-solid state.
