Imidazole is a five-membered heterocycle that is found in many naturally occurring compounds.[1] It exhibits both acidic and basic properties. It is reported to be an inhibitor of thromboxane formation.[2] Its vertical spectrum and the radiationless decay have been recorded and analyzed.
