This new generation of Socorex® Bottle Top Dispensers is intended for the safe and reproducible liquid distribution of volumes up to 25, 50 and 100 mL. The Calibrex™ 525 organo includes a ground glass plunger, best suited for organics, non-crystallizing acid and base solutions. The Calibrex™ 530 solutae has a PFA coated plunger preventing plunger and barrel from seizing together. This enables trouble free distribution of salt solutions, weak and strong acids, as well as bases. The materials in contact with liquid flow are chemically inert, providing for stability and long instrument life. The dispensers are very easy to disassemble and clean. Dispensers are very easy to calibrate in the lab. The calibration mechanism with integrated key is located under the plunger cap. The instructions are engraved for fast and correct setting. Access to this mechanism is protected by a calibration seal sticker. Calibrex organo and solutae dispensers are also available with a flow control stopcock. This device allows the dispenser to be primed easily without reagent loss or contamination. The reagent is recycled back into the bottle. In addition, the dispensers with the flow control stopcock have a locked position for added safety.
