Established from peripheral blood of a 71 year-old woman at diagnosis of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). No rearrangement of C-MYC DNA sequences.

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 + 2 mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 0.5 - 2 x1000,000 cells/ml; 5% CO₂; 37 °C. Doubling time approximately 60 hours. Split saturated culture 1:2 every 2-4 days. Cells are single round to polymorphic and grow in suspension.
