Features Alkaline pH (pH 8.4) for optimal conditions for denaturation and reduction of disulfide bonds 4X concentrated allows for larger sample loading It has Lithium Dodecyl Sulfate instead of SDS Uses Coomassie G250 and Phenol Red as tracking dyes. Coomassie G250 dye gives sharp dye front with MES and MOPS running buffers and migrates closer to the moving ion when compared to bromphenol blue.
