M-Brilliant Green HiVeg Broth, 500G

M-Brilliant Green HiVegTM broth is a selective differential medium for primary screening of Salmonellae in polluted water using membrane filtration technique. Salmonella are unable to ferment either lactose or saccharose in the medium. This allows identification of accompanying weakly lactose-positive or lactosenegative, but saccharose positive microorganisms. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
