Polymethacrylate-based microparticles are a size standard, ideal to identify the particle size distribution (PSD) profile of test samples.
The particle size of 4 μm is measured using Coulter Multisizer.

Application

Used to qualify and check particle size equipment.

• form self-assembled colloid structures for studying fluid dynamics of colloid mobility near a solid surface
• fabricate polyelectrolyte-modified beads as an alternate option for conventional pretreatment process of electroless plating

They are stable at temperatures of up to 100 °C Density is 1.22 g/cm³. The surface is negatively charged. Good biocompatibility and reduced nonspecific protein binding are characteristic.
