MPS CARTRIDGE (C062B-020403)

These mantles feature fiberglass-insulated heating jackets specifically designed for heating round bottom flasks. They have the size and power capacity to meet any flask heating requirement from 50 to 5000 ml. A unique heating mantle design directs heat to flask contents while the exterior case remains cool enough to rest on the lab bench. Heating elements are located close to the cavity surface for maximum heat transfer. Maximum operating temperature is 482°C (900°F). 120V, 50/60Hz.
Mantles are supplied without controls and require external temperature controls to prevent damage to mantle. (See Catalog No. 339-47206 for controller).
