These disposable bottles have an amorphous carbon coating which keeps oxygen from diffusing into or out of your sample. Bottles provide uniform blanks, high standard recoveries and quality test data. Bottles come packaged 100 bottles per case and are consecutively numbered. Acrylic stoppers work with all brands of glass and plastic 300mL BOD bottles. Overcaps are made of polyethylene and fit snugly against the rim and shoulder of these disposable BOD bottles. The use of a cap over the mouth of a BOD bottle, to prevent evaporation, is recommended by Standard Methods.
