Phosphate Test, 5 - 120mg/l PO4 3-, Method: reflectometric with test strips and reagent, 50 tests

The Reflectoquant® Phosphate test includes test strips and all necessary additional reagents. It is suitable for determining orthophosphate in wastewater, soil samples, fertilizers and food. In sulfuric solution orthophosphate ions (PO43-) react with molybdate ions to form molybdophosphoric acid. This is reduced to phosphomolybdenum blue (PMB) that is determined reflectometrically on the RQflex®. For pre-testing a sample in an economic and quick way to estimate the phosphate concentration and a possible dilution factor prior to using this quantitative method we recommend our semi-quantitative MQuant® test strips for phosphate. Further quantitative determination methods can be found with our Spectroquant® tests.
