General description

The Progard^® 2 Pretreatment Pack without polyphosphate, has been designed to pretreat water by removing large particles, organic compounds and free chlorine from tap water. This protects the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane against organic fouling and chlorine oxidation.
Progard^® 2 Pretreatment Pack ensures that your system lifetime and performance are optimized.
Replacement of consumables, when requested by the system, is key to maintain the system′s performance within specifications.

Designed for use with Elix^® and RiOs^™ 5/8/16 water purification systems.

Features and Benefits

• The Progard^® 2 pretreatment pack is constructed from polypropylene and EPDM.
• Suitable for tap water feed with SDI < 12 and Cl₂ < 3 ppm and TOC < 2000 ppb.
• Natural activated carbon media exhibits a high surface area and adsorption kinetic, tolerating feed water containing up to 3 ppm of chlorine and 2000 ppb of TOC.
• Depth filter media exhibits a high capacity and optimized retention, tolerating feed water with a silt density index up to 12.
• The assembly of the pretreatment pack is fully automated.
