Welch GEM® Pumping and Trapping Fluid is a specially formulated paraffin based hydrocarbon oil for use in the GELMASTERTM gel-drying system. The blue color of the trapping fluid makes it easy to distinguish from the trapped condensate when draining the system. The trapping fluid can be used repeatedly since it does not mix with the condensate. It will appear greenish in color when contaminated.
