Reservoirs used for storing high performance, low pressure liquid chromatography mobile phase. Complete reservoir system includes a plastic coated graduated bottle, a standard cap assembly, and solvent and sparging filters. Cap assembly fits GL45 threaded bottles and has a PTFE bulkhead with three 1/4in- 28 threaded ports to accomodate fittings for 1/8in O.D. tubing. The quick disconnect bottle cap assembly, offered as an accessory, permits tubing changes without unscrewing the flangeless nuts. Fittings are supplied with the cap assemblies. Another accessory cap assembly is injection molded and is a less expensive, easy-to-use alternative. There are no threads or fittings, just insert the 1/8in O.D. tubing through the specially designed holes in the Tefzel®; bulkhead. The solvent and sparging filters have a 2µm stainless steel replaceable filter cup with a ferrule and nut for 1/8in O.D. tubing. A 10µm filter assembly is offered as an option. The solvent reservoir stand positions the filters for maximum uptake of the mobile phase. An economical solvent and sparging filter is available with all PEEK construction and a 2µm filter. PTFE (FEP) tubing is sold separately.
