Rogosa SL Agar w/ 0.15% Oxgall (Revised as Rogosa SL Agarw/0.15% Bile) is recommended for selective isolation of bile tolerant Lactobacilli. It contains high acetate concentraion and low pH which suppresses growth of many other strains of Lactic acid bacteria. The presence of Oxgall selectively allows the growth of bile tolerant Lactobacilli.
