Gilson’s innovative design delivers the same accurate separations, yet produces lower levels of nuisance noise in the lab. The Silent Sifter accepts 8in, 12in, 200mm or 300mm diameter test sieves for maximum versatility. Sieve stack capacity ranges from six 12in diameter full-height sieves with pan, or up to twenty 8in diameter half-height sieves with pan. Operation is simple and efficient; stacks of test sieves are placed inside and the cabinet is tilted back. No clamping is required. Sieves continuously rotate with tapping from plastic-faced hammers to assist separation. Operation is controlled by a digital countdown timer with large LED display. Test cycles up 99 minutes at ±1 second can be performed, including pause functions in user selectable modes. Settings are saved for precise repeatability between cycles and easy, one-button operation. The rugged, impact-resistant MDF board cabinet is totally enclosed for safe, dust-free operation. A side knob allows ergonomic tilt control of the cabinet between the loading and testing positions. Locking 4in hard rubber Swivel Casters make for easy portability in the lab.
