SMC(TM) HUMAN IL-22 HIGH SENSITIVITY IMMUNOASSAY

General description

The SMC^® human IL-22 High Sensitivity Immunoassay Kit contains all reagents required to perform the assay. This assay takes advantage of a standard immunoassay workflow configured in a standard plate format.

Assay protocols are similar to existing sandwich ELISA methods with two key differences:
1) Elution buffer disrupts the sandwich, separating the labeled detection antibody for quantification.
2)The Erenna and SMCxPRO^® immunoassay systems detect analytes using Single Molecule Counting (SMC^®) technology.

Specificity

Non-human primate plasma: 4 out of 4 individuals found to be detectable.
Feline plasma: 4 out of 4 individuals found to be detectable.
Canine plasma: 4 out of 4 individuals found to be detectable.
Mouse plasma: 5 out 6 individuals found to be detectable.
Although IL-22 was detectable, the assay has not been validated for these species.
