Uridine, Cell Culture Tested, 5G
Uridine is a ribonucleoside that has Uracil attached to its ribose ring. It is an important component of carbohydrate metabolism and is essential for both RNA and DNA synthesis.
Uridine is a ribonucleoside that has Uracil attached to its ribose ring. It is an important component of carbohydrate metabolism and is essential for both RNA and DNA synthesis. The monophosphate form of uridine (UMP) is formed from orotidylic acid (orotidine 5'- monophosphate) in a decarboxylation reaction catalyzed by the enzyme orotidylate deoxycarboxylase. Uridine is also used in synthesis of CDP-Choline, which plays a key role in the formation of the cell membrane. Appearance: White powder Solubility: Clear colorless solution at 5gm in 100ml of water Heavy metals: NMT 0.001% Assay: NLT 99.00%
