Microtiter plates and stained gels such as Coomassie Blue, Methylene Blue and Silver Stained Protein gels can be examined. Units are manufactured using scratch resistant powder paint finish. The smooth white plexiglass and glass combination is permanently sealed into the unit-double safety fused for durability. The glass provides a scratch and chemical resistant work surface which can easily be cleaned. 6284D40 is designed for use with 8” x 10” film sizes; this unit contains two cool white 8 watt bulbs. Use the 6284D45 with 14 x 17" film sizes. Four cool white, 14 watt tubes are contained in each of these units. Replacement bulbs are available upon request.
